Holy Spirit, renew our hearts to recognize your way to the Lord every day.

Today,

show us the right word, the right person, the right action to get closer to God,

show us the time that is lost in useless anxieties, and comfort our hearts,

comfort our hearts when we feel lonely and confused, when we are angry and troubled.

Today,

teach us to be happy in the presence of the Lord,

teach us to share peace even when we are surrounded by hate,

teach us to pray even when our hearts are distressed.

Today,

remind us that you are here in our hearts and minds,

remind us what is important, and what is urgent,

remind us that today we can make a difference in the life of others,

and we can live this day as the only day we have to follow Jesus.

And, tonight when we go to bed inspire us to give thanks for today God’s graces.
