Our own Cross to bear

We all have a cross to bear in life.  Some are heavy and some are lighter, but all as unique as God made us.  Some people hold up their crosses and some drag their cross behind them where-ever they go in life.  Some souls are nailed to their crosses and make their way of the cross along the rocky path.  I do know from an experience in the Adoration Chapel, that those who who are nailed to the cross make it to a special place in Heaven that God has prepared for them.  It is extremely difficult to apply your personal pain to the Cross of Jesus, but in actuality that is what He wants from all of us.  You have to finish your cross bearing in purgatory, if you are not applying to it in this life.

A co-worker recently reminded me in my current pain and struggle, that God only gives to us what we can handle.  He appoints us to specific roles in life that are unique to us, to get the job done, to get the crisis handled, to help ones in need, and to do the right thing with those we love no matter how difficult it seems at that time.

Just a reminder that we all need to repeat the Divine Mercy words “Jesus, I trust in You.” to help build our trust in the Lord to see us through it all.
