In our adoration chapel there are some wonderful works of art going on. There are two stained glass cathedral arch windows. When the sun comes around to the window later in the day, the colors of the window shine above the Blessed Sacrament. The interesting thing is, God is using this sunlight in the window to create the most Heavenly promises visually portrayed on to the wall. At first I thought it resembled Our Blessed Mother overshadowing the Host in the Monstrance. However, the other day my husband pointed out what he saw, and then I also saw the same things. It was the Sacred Heart in red, with rays of red streaming from it, along with white rays of light. Above the Host was the the Holy Spirit Dove with it’s wings spread out in the scene. This was entirely the work of the Lord, for the windows could not possibly place these images on the wall. It was so perfect and beautiful…
The other spectacular sight is some sort of glittery particles floating around the monstrance, the Glory of God whirling around the Host. I asked my husband if he saw that as well. A few minutes later he said he saw it also.
Such great awe and wonder, it truly gave me peace. Knowing that such beauty does exist and that we desire to be there someday. Heaven is timeless and so beautiful! It brings great hope and joy to my heart knowing that in these times of darkness on earth, the promises of Christ are present in our midst with the pouring out of graces upon us.
