In today’s world, we live under the influence.  Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, sex, crime, abortion, and the attack on family and marriage as a whole.  These influences come directly from Satan…for his time of destruction is short.  We are at a spiritual war, and we as Catholics under this fog and warped world of confusion, have laid down our weapons.  Our weapons are Prayer, Fasting and Alms giving.  As we quickly approach the season of Lent, let us become familiar with these weapons as we should have never given them rest.  For every Christian season such as Christmas and Lent/Easter, we are submerged into viral attacks from the world in which we do not belong to.  Some way or another, the media will attack us, scandal will break out, and headlines will read attacks towards us.  We are not of this world, as I seriously try to explain that to my children from time to time when they feel ridiculed, left out or as they do not “fit-in” with their peers, or have the materialism that their friends are awarded.  The secular world is under this “fog” that seems to be invisible, it is a plague of our times.  It is a poison wreaking havoc upon the soul.  The economic state and fiscal cliff in which we live, has nothing to do with Wall-Street per se, it is the direct result of abortion in this nation we live in.  Take some time to do some research on the monies handled for abortion. Where do the monies come from?  They come from the taxpayer.  Where do campaign funds come from to support politicians with abortion motives ?  They come from the blood money organizations.  Why are pro-lifers attacked?  Because the people with the blood money hire each other to make vicious attacks towards them.  They work as judges and prosecutors whose spouses own abortion clinics and want to get rid of us and make us quiet and afraid to call out for justice.  We are bondage to this crime, we will be driven into exile.  We are captive of the fog we breath in, the poison in our souls and our minds are drunken with selfish and self-centered motives listening to the media tell us lies, twisting words and speech in such a way that it seems okay.  Blinded and led to the path of hell…for we all be held accountable.  Did we speak up for Justice (Jesus)?  Did we defend our Lord for the sanctity of life?  Are we truly for Justice or not?  Being passively quiet will not solve the problem.  Kick the habit of Influence to the curb, and start practicing your Faith as it was written from the beginning in the Book of Life that will opened when we are judged as a people and as a nation.

God has a name for each of us, and it will not be revealed to us until we are in Heaven.  No one else will know this name we have been individually given.  While on earth, we have an earthly name given to us by our parents.  We may even have nicknames and middle names, last names all to help identify who we are.  God also has other names for us, like “My Child” and “Soldier”.  Have you ever heard God call you by these names?  “What is troubling you My Child?”  “Soldier”, yes that is a name that God calls some of us.  We are His soldiers on earth for the spiritual war going on.  Have ever felt in your soul, the need to stand up and fight for what is right?  Have you ever felt a great power in your soul, that you will fight for the Lord and nothing else matters?

I have a repetitive vision, and it goes something like this:

Where I work, the shipping and receiving person calls me to the dock.  There is a package that arrived, and the delivery person was given strength to deliver the package to the dock.  It was long and narrow, in a white box with my name on it.  No one could lift the package, they even tried to lift it with the fork lift.  So I go to open the package, and inside is a gleaming gold cross on a long golden pole.  The cross is the 4 way Holy Spirit Cross with jewels decorating it.  It is bright.  I reach into the box and pick up the cross so effortlessly.  Everyone stands in amazement…”How can you pick up that cross ?” they exclaim.  I reply that I do not know, but it has a purpose I am guessing.  After I ponder this vision over and over, I come to the terms that I have a heavy cross to bear, and others I work with do not have the strength to carry my cross, only I can do that.  Everyone has their own custom cross to carry just as unique as they are.  But it revealed something more to me than that.  I have been praying for my co-workers for over 2 years straight, mostly 5 days per week, and mostly for the same cause.  I was told in Adoration that I must pray for them for a certain cause.  I know this cause, but not saying what it is…The Lord called me by Name, to carry out this mission and burden the cross that is heavy…at my workplace for the sake of my co-workers souls, for they cannot do it on their own.  So this is the fight of a soldier, for the sake of the children of God.

Currently in our children’s faith formation classes, the Sanctity of life is one of the lessons. It is up to us parents to decide how detailed we explain this, since it includes information about abortion, the murder of innocent little children who have no voice except for us.  With the packet the children receive a little baby about 12 weeks old in a blanket.  This is to show children that the baby is really a baby even so tiny as it is!  When I took the little baby out of the packet, I felt over whelmed with love as I held the tiny baby in my hand.  How can anyone deny a little child and have it exterminated?  What is clearly wrong with society, is they have been duped.  It is all a lie.  Jane Roe, who is really Norma McCorvey, tells us today that this was the worst mistake of her life.  She admits she lied that she was raped to receive an abortion, when she actually gave birth to the child before the supreme court made the abortion process more legalized. She was persuaded by feminist lawyers to make the accusation of rape. She works tirelessly to end abortion now, and said she will take this to her grave.  Over 55 million baby’s have been executed since the beginning of this law.  As Priests for Life Father Pavone says “America will not end abortion, until America sees abortion.”  It is very gruesome, and now there are some high schools in this country that teach “The Miracle of the Abortion”,  they teach that this is a beautiful thing to take another’s life away…how can this be?  The movement is making its way into Girl Scouts and other means to brainwash our youth as soon as possible that pregnancy is an illness, crime and a plague.  That it is women’s choice to kill her child out of mostly convenience.  Only 1% of abortions are due to rape, and most of those are persuaded into the abortion. Many women who have been raped testify they would never want to have an abortion, they wanted to give birth to their children.

So the real Jane Roe, Norma McCorvey, is working to reverse the mistake she made.  Remember that God is Merciful, He is Mercy itself.  So if you know anyone who has had an abortion or suffering from another person’s decision to abort, you can find help from Rachel’s Vineyard.

In the End of Times, there will be many plagues and famine.  The world is starved for Christ (famine), and the plagues are new ones…the silent killers of modern time (abortion and distorted moral values).

Remember that Christ will come again, as a thief in the night, so do not slumber so that you are not caught off guard.  Only the Eternal Father in Heaven knows when this time will be.  Therefore do not believe in the worldly prophecies, they will drift away with the wind.

People these days seem to forget that God is All Knowing.  He knew us before we were born, He created us.  He knows when there is going be a car accident, He knows what our thoughts are every second.  He knows how and when we will die, because that is up to God not us.  We do not even begin to give God enough credit for being God.  We cannot fathom God as He is, but we must try harder o give Him the Glory and praise that He deserves and do our best to understand in our human nature.  The life we live now is journey and a test.  Jesus said the gate of Heaven is narrow and very few enter.  We must strive for Heaven, because other than that what have we lived for?  Our lives are meant for us to live for God and give Him glory, for His purpose and to hear Him say “Job well done my servant”,  when we finally meet Him face to face.  If we allow Him into our lives, He will give us the grace we need to pass the test.

This argument seems to be resurfacing often these days.  Mostly I hear about how Jesus casted the demons out in His Own name. How He raised the dead in His Own name.  He would say “I say to you…rise”, and ”I say to you leave…” when he cured the sick, exorcised demons, and raised from the dead.  He knew He was Divine.  However, when I hear of these things, I think about Jesus when He was a boy.  When He was found in the temple teaching at a very young age.  Then He says to His Mother Mary and Father Joseph, “Do you not know I must do my Father’s work?”  Of course He knew He was Divine, from a very young age He knew.  Not only that, His earthly parents probably told him about the Angel Gabriel, and how the Holy Spirit overshadowed His Mother.  Imagine all of the miracles that the Holy family witnessed.  When Mary said at the Wedding in Cana “Do whatever He tells you…”, right there is proof that He knew His own Divinity.   Our Blessed Mother had witness His Divine power over the years, and she had faith like no other.  There were many things that went unmentioned in bible about their day to day lives.  Their lives were part ordinary…also extraordinary. They most likely had many Divine experiences with our Savior as a child.  This is why Joseph died a peaceful happy death…

It is true that Jesus knew of His Divinity on earth.

Some afflictions, if you continuously suffer for example like the same illness or other ailment repeatedly could very well be for the benefit of other souls.  It could be your spouse, your children, your co-workers, or anyone else God decides it be for.  It is not always for our own benefit, and still needs to be applied to Christ’s suffering on the cross.  We forget to apply our sufferings in this way in our day to day activities.

I overheard a couple of co-workers talking about leaving the faith.  They do not understand the Eucharist, or they would not contemplate this.  I felt immediately sadened in my heart by this, and started to immediately pray for them.  I was not part of conversation but they knew I heard them because they rebel at my beliefs and yes, they were baptized as catholics.  The devil works hard on souls around Christmas and Easter.  Some people have little faith, and soon the Lord will alarm the world.  Everyone will know in their conscience where they stand with the Lord.

One of the co-workers complained that the catholic church in town was not entertaining but the non-denominational one down the road was.  The Mass is not for entertainment, it is to grow closer to the Lord, to get to know Him better.  The Mass is a sacrafice for us to enter heaven some day. 

I took the time to speak to my Priest in regards to this, and just like I heard in Adoration he repeated the words that no prayer is wasted, to continue this every day.  He also mentioned that people spend too much time with electronic devices where they think they need to be constantly watching something.

In the beginning, “And let there be light…” The light of the world is Jesus Himself.  Reading the book of Isaiah will give great insight of how Jesus is our savior, and 700 years later He was born of a virgin.  Jesus will conquer the evil in this world when He comes again.  Do not ever live life as though the world will not end in your lifetime.  Be prepared, and defend our Lord so that when you are judged and give an accounting for your life and what you have done that He may be pleased with you.  The slightest of sins offends our Lord, take nothing lightly when it comes to sin and go to confession frequently so that you do not forget the offenses you committed.  Do not be a lazy catholic.  Do not choose to practice only the parts of the faith you like or believe.  Practice it in its entirety.  Do not fall into the beliefs of the world we live in, woe to that soul who becomes secular in beliefs!

Jesus meant literally that the Eucharist would be of His Flesh and the Wine of His blood.  This is not a symbol like other religions believe, it is truth.  Entering a catholic church, you will literally find the presence of Someone there.  This is how many conversions take place, if someone who is not catholic enters the church.  They hear and feel the presence of the Lord like no other place, because He is in the tabernacle. The sacraments of our faith are graces to enter into eternal life, and we need to hold firm to our faith more than ever, because man has fallen from grace and on a path to hell.  Remember there is a hell, and from that place you cannot start over or return, it is forever.

Rejoice that our savior Jesus Christ is the true meaning of Christmas.  His light brought forth into this world to expel the darkness.  During advent wait for His arrival, for He is the true gift that should be placed in your hearts and home.  There is no greater gift that has ever come into this world, and nothing will ever compare to that light and that promise of salvation.  But you must be willing to accept His divine mercy.  Go to Him for forgiveness of your sins and receive the light of the world in your hearts.

When people say “Happy Holiday’s”, sometimes it is because people do not know your religion.  Mainly these days it is due to secularism.  They want to be politically correct, as not to offend anyone.  This is becoming out of control.  How can we evangelize if this is the approach we use?  What is then the holiday?  What are we celebrating?  Parades for nothing, sparkle dazzle and lights?  What is the worship about?  The focus on Santa and try scrambling the letters around, what do you have?  Materialism, not the Christ child.  Christmas is the reason for the celebrating.  The Christ child of light coming into our dark world to give hope and salvation.

Last year we told our children that Santa was make-believe.  They did not shed one tear, and they understood what we were saying.  We were tired of the falsehood, it was a lie.  The true St Nicolas had been lost gradually since the 1950′s when secular Santa pulled in with his sleigh and reindeer.  The purpose for this Santa was marketing to sell more during the Christmas time of year.  Santa removes the Christ from the focus of Christmas, and then becomes X-Mas…how sad and fallen have we become.

We need to re-examine what we are doing and saying as a culture.  The culture cannot change unless WE take the steps to do the right things.

There was a particular traumatic event that had taken place in my past.  I was a victim of a horrible crime, along with 3 of my children.  The source in which it came from continues to try to make me a victim of circumstance, and will be stopped by the hand of God Himself.  There were many promises the Lord had given to me, which began in 2007.  Each one fulfilled perfectly in such a profound way.  His message to me came in the form of court documents for the latest promise fulfilled.  The wording in the court documents made so obvious that the Lord was speaking through the hands of the court.   The words written “The prayers of the petitioner have been granted.”    I know that these words can be used in the court system for different things, but this was first in 5 years that read those words. Yes it was a prayer, and it was granted.  Amen to that!  However there is more to come…to the offender: know that God’s hand will intercede in this situation and put a stop to it once and for all. Not one hair upon my head shall be touched and the rest of my family will be fine.  Therefore whatever is schemed will not succeed.

From this particular event in my life,  I have learned to trust in the Lord, rely on Him, and know that He does deliver His promises in His time, in His way, and it will be perfectly delivered as promised.  Many times the Lord will give more to you as a reward of the trust given to Him.  The Lord does not take back what He promises, for that would be a lie and the Lord does not lie.

Learn to trust and love the Lord with all your heart and soul, with all your strength and mind.  He will deliver you in your time of need, allow Him to do His work.  He will use you to do His work.  So when it seems so difficult, know that nothing is too difficult for the Lord, and He performs His works through you to carry out His will.

How many promises does it take to fully trust in the Lord?  Unfortunately many of us it takes far too many times.  The Lord is patient however, and will take us there little by little if we ask.  Ask: “Lord help me trust you more, I am having trouble with this.”  He will give you something you could not think of or dream up to prove this to you, to gain this trust.  For example: Sort of like if you are falling, and you have no control.  You hear interiorly ” Don’t worry, you will not fall over, I will not allow it.”  So rather than panic, just say “okay Lord”.  Then you do not fall, and you regain your balance.  There are little tests like these that will help you gain that trust.
