If there is one theme that would describe this blog it would be borrowed from Matthew 19:26 – “…with God all things are possible.”
I am a cradle Catholic whose only choice when I became of age was Catholicism. It is as much a part of me as breathing.
Otherwise, I am a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother of three, grandmother of five, and have savored each of those descriptions. One mind shattering regret was the grandchild that we lost after only three months of life.
For thirty-two years my husband and I have loved one another without regard for good or troublesome periods in our lives together. After forty-one years in administration I retired. Somehow the days have surrendered one into another and I turn around to find myself at sixty-four years old! I saw it pass…but the breadth of it is daunting.
Throughout grade school, high school, college, marriage, raising children and grandchildren, and my career I prayed often and thanked God. But, there was one year in my life when everything I believed in fell by the wayside. It was a disconsolate and lonely time but emotionally I survived more resilient than I thought possible.
With this blog I hope to share experiences that I have had or seen to assist those who may yet be immersed in a dark and forlorn time.
