Prayers

A heartfelt and simple prayer for the protection of our priests:

God, Our Father, please send us holy priests all for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all for the sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary in union with St. Joseph. Amen.

Novena In Urgent Need to the Infant Jesus of Prague:

Jesus, You said, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.” Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I knock, I seek. I ask that my prayer be granted. (Mention your request.)

Jesus, You said, “All that you ask of the Father in My name, He will grant you.” Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your name that my prayer be granted. (Mention your request.)

Jesus, You said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass.” Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. (Mention your request.)

Prayer to St. Peregrine (the patron saint of cancer)

O God, who gave to St. Peregrine an angel for his companion, the Mother of  God for his Teacher, and Jesus for the Physician of his malady; grant, we beseech Thee, through his merits, that we may on earth intensely love our holy angel, the Blessed Virgin, and our Saviour, and in heaven bless them forever. Grant that we receive the favor for which we now petition, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Say, one Our Father, one Hail Mary, one Glory Be, with the invocation: “St. Peregrine, pray for us.”

The Miracle Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come before You, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Your name I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give You my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever. I invite You into my life, Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Heal me, Change me, Strengthen me in body, soul, and spirit.

Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your precious blood, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I love You, Lord Jesus. I praise You, Jesus. I thank You, Jesus. I shall follow You every day of my life. Amen.

Mary, my mother, Queen of peace, all the Angels and Saints, please help me. Amen.

[Say this prayer faithfully, no matter how you feel. When you come to the point where you sincerely mean each word, with all your heart, something good spiritually will happen to you. You will experience Jesus, and He will change your whole life in a very special way. You will see.]  (from Fr. Peter Mary Rookey, OSM)

Blessing of the Advent Wreath

Lord God, your Church joyfully awaits the coming of its Savior, who enlightens our hearts and dispels the darkness of ignorance and sin. Pour forth your blessings upon us as we light the candles of this wreath: may their light reflect the splendor of Christ, who is Lord forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph over 1900 years old

“O St. Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my Thanksgiving and Homage to the most Loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.”

(When said nine consecutive mornings for anything you may desire, is seldom known to fail.)
