A Christian since my mid-20′s, I became Roman Catholic in 2006. My conversion to Catholicism literally opened a new way of living for me. I am single and committed to a chaste life. I have not always been chaste — since becoming a Christian it has sometimes been challenging (to say the least!) to remain sexually pure. Yet the benefits of my conversion to Catholicism and of chastity have been so deep for me that I want to make the case for these things in a public way. To convert to Jesus is the best decision any person can make. Chastity for the sake of Jesus is a great bargain!

LIKE TO HEAR DIFFERENT VIEWS/IDEAS ON RELIGION, THINGS HAVE ALTERED SO MUCH SINCE IF WAS YOUNG, I AM NOW 77 YEARS OF AGE, AND FEEL CONCERNED FOR THE FUTURE. I TEACH IN CHILDRENS LITURGY 6-11YRS…….AND FIND ONCE THEY HAVE MADE THEIR FIRST HOLY COMMUNION, THEIR PARENTS DO NOT BRING THEM ALONG..I FIND THIS SAD. WE NEED CATHOLIC RELIGION TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS AGAIN…..JM
Thanks, Joyce. I, too, fear for young people who are not carefully brought up to love God and his church. You are doing a good work to teach these young ones — bless you for not giving up! God has a way of keeping his church together and part of that way is surely people like you who pass on the faith.
Step back and look at the world as it is. Please realise that other people have similar convictions as you, but about other religions. Why should your beliefs be more important than those that others have? Don’t religions just cancel each other out? Somebody has got to be wrong. Why should you be the one who is right? Why do you need to keep on telling everyone that you believe in your religion? Perhaps deep down you’re not quite as sure about it as you think.Think about it. Be honest with yourself.
