Just recently Snow White and the Huntsman, the dark and stylish summer blockbuster — also the most Christian film of the year — has been released on Blue Ray and DVD. If you missed the film over the summer, I strongly urge you to check it out at home. When I first saw the work I was deeply moved and surprised to see what rich Christian symbolism, theology, and spiritual prowess encapsulated the movie. This film, to put it bluntly, is pure Christianity. Please check out my summer review of it (expounding on some of the Christian themes) and please see the phenomenal trailer below.

Also, here’s some great bonus material. The movie has a powerful soundtrack, one of the best songs is performed by the hauntingly beautiful voice of Ioanna Gika and is called “Gone.” Here’s a nice video with the song and lyrics. Both the film and the music are worth checking out.
