XII. The Two Protesters

Mary, Holy Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? When Jesus decided it was time to come to Earth, He had to choose a gateway to descend from Heaven to live on earth. Mary was chosen to be this Gate of Heaven for Jesus. In fact, she is the Gate of Heaven. If anyone wishes to go to Heaven, Dear Reader, then Mary is the gate that Jesus models for us. He teaches us by the Incarnation at the Annunciation to Mary that she is the gate for Him because she is full of grace. In 1522, Martin Luther stated, “The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart.” Your protest, Dear (Protestant & non-practicing Catholic) Reader, is over! Toss away your signs, hang-up your jacket, put away your walking shoes, and turn-off the TV; it is time to come Home!

Her garden grows not with silver belles and cockleshells. The protest is over, my Dear Readers. Yes, the Catholic Church has had some bad apples bitten by some bad popes, bishops, and priest. Jesus knew this beforehand; eleven of His chosen abandon Him. One even turned Him over to be crucified. However, the other Apostles repented and were forgiven. If Jesus wanted an angel to lead His Militant Church, then He could have done so. Instead, He places a sinner to be the Head of His Church.

Her garden is not with pretty maids all in a row. The Doctrines of the Catholic Church has never been corrupted despite the men who sat on the throne of Peter. Some popes, of ancient past, did some evil things. However, the Holy Spirit prevented any Truths to be fabricated. Never has one good pope had to go back in history to undo a dogmatic-lie told by another pope – ever! The gates of hell shall not prevail! For in every time period of the Catholic Church, there existed numerous holy, humble, and faithful servants who are Saints. The Catholic Church canonizes some Saints, and yet, many more have entered Heaven!

In union with the Holy Magisterium and Sacred Tradition, the pope is infallible when unveiling Divine Truths! Moreover, in past the hundred years or so, the popes have been faithful and true guardians of Jesus’ one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic church. The Protestant Reformation occurring in 1517 was a brilliant protest against the folly of many of the church leaders at that time. However, Martin Luther, a protestor, made a grave and anxious mistake in his attempt to reform the iniquities he witnessed. His reform became moot, as soon as he broke from Jesus’ Church. Martin cut himself off from the Holy Vine!

Conversely, during this same time period of Martin, another protestor, Teresa Sánchez is a supermodel for heroically enhancing the Catholic Church from within its realm. There are 33 Doctors of the Church. In 1970, Saint Teresa is recognized as one of only three female Doctors of the Church for her extraordinary writings and teachings on prayer and practicing the Catholic Faith! From Martin’s folly, the protestant-church broke up into many: Anglican, Church of England, Calvinist, Jehovah Witness, Adventist, Christian Science, Episcopal, United Church of Christ, Methodist, Pentecostal, Churches of God, Baptist, Disciples of Christ, Churches of Christ, Reformed, Presbyterian, and Lutheran etc.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? Dear Reader, Jesus reveals that if there is one thing that He cannot do, then that is He can never refuse His Mother. Mary intercedes on behalf of the bridegroom at the Wedding Feast of Cana. She knows of his impending embarrassment. Now, Mary, whose constant intercession we rely for help, intercedes for us all!

Dear Protester, The three most critical reasons that you continue your folly is the infallibility of the pope, the Most Blessed Eucharist, and Mary. The Infallibility of the pope comes directly from Jesus in Holy Scripture. Nevertheless, you see it with eyes that cannot see. In matters of the True Faith, the Pope only reveals truths in union with the Holy Magisterium, and Sacred Tradition. He does not create truths; no pope ever did. By the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Pope, en Cathedra, unveils truths that were true as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, Truth without end. Amen!

Jesus is “actually” present in the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Eucharist. Not only is the Eucharist a sacred meal, but it is a perpetual sacrificial event. When we eat His Body and drink His Blood, we consume Eternal Life. Like many of the disciples of Jesus’ time on Earth, Martin’s followers also walk away from this Absolute Truth.

Dear Reader, the protest is over! Like the Eve of old, Holy Mary, the new Eve, points the new Adam, Jesus, in the direction of the tree in the midst of the Garden of Eden, where the piercing of His Sacred Heart happens. By His Holy Cross, He has redeemed the world. His time has not come yet; yes, it has; Mary directs the servants to do what ever He says. Mary directs us all in this continuous journey. Jesus refuses not His Mother; the wine is created, the bridegroom is saved from embarrassment. Even until this very day, all generations call her blessed. Mary’s garden continues to grow with all of her faithful servants who do whatever Jesus tells us.

“For He, who is mighty, has done great things for me (Mary).” Notice that Holy Scripture does not speak of the singular “thing.” Written is the plural, “things.” When Jesus hung on His Holy Cross for three torturous hours, where were the five thousand he fed, the palm-wavers, the healed, the forgiven, the disciples, and the apostles? Where was Mary? Standing by the cross was His Mother and the one faithful apostle, John. Be like John!

Finally, seek forgiveness, Dear Reader, receive Jesus in the Holy Sacraments. Be like the holy saints: James the Great and James the Less; Timothy and Paul; Stephen and Joseph the Just; Peter and Thomas; Daniel the Prophet and John the Beloved Apostle; Francis and Nicholas; Anthony and Andrew; Charles and Joseph of Cupertino; Anne and Marie Goretti; Martha, her sister Mary, and Elizabeth; Ignatius, Sebastian, Bridgette, and Vincent, just to name a few.

Explore the lives of the Saints in Heaven! Become an eternal member of the Kingdom of Heaven with the Communion of Saints, the Hosts of Angels, Queen Mary, King Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and with, as Jesus teaches by describing the two most astonishing and holy words on that mount, “Our Father.” However, more precisely, Jesus the Christ teaches us to say, “‘Abba, Our Daddy!”

Special Notice: Jesus, Our Lord and Savior, loved, honored, blessed, respected, and showed great devotion to His Blessed Mother with all His Sacred Heart so much that the significance of His inestimable Love for His Mother surpasses all time and all space. No one, nary a soul, should doubt that we, the clients of Mary, come even close to the Love, which Jesus has for Mary! Therefore, let “it” be known what the truth is; we always come-up far, far short in our great-devotion to Mary! However, we will insist on continuing to grow in our devotion to her by following Jesus. Dear Reader, Jesus and Mary Love you so much!!! Remember, we come together in one Triune God, in one Holy Baptism, and in one Holy Faith – the Holy Catholic and Apostolic (Universal) Faith.

Queen of confessors, pray for us!

Stay-tuned for the “Tilma” on Thursday, November 17.

Peace & JAMLY,
