Our Lady of Heaven. Mary Mother of God. We have such an amazing gift that Jesus gave us before he died on the cross. Oh course, besides all the other obvious ones. He gave us his Mother. Someone who’s always there, always ready with love, to comfort us when we’re in need. But more than anything she’s there to lead us to her Son. What a gift we have been given, and yet so few of us, use our gift.

Mary has always been important to me, but until the last few years I took her for granted. She was there when I needed her, gave me comfort, much like my Mother her on earth. And also much like my Mother her on earth, she also gave me direction. Not a knock in the head, like I probably needed, but just gentle direction, little reminders, hints that came from out of the blue. Slowly but consistently pointing me in the direction I needed to go, and slowly, ever so slowly, I started to listen.

The last few years I have opened my ears, opened my heart and the Holy Spirit has filled them, filled me and my faith has grown, my love has grown. As has my need, for the Father. Everyday I pray to Mary to lead me to her Son, to take my hand and show me the way. Open my heart that I may be filled with grace, with the Holy Spirit.

I was looking at some of old emails and found a message from Mary that really hit home and I would like to share it with you.. Message from Mary of Medjugorje May 25, 2010. “Dear children! God gave you the grace to live and to defend all the good that is in you and around you, and to inspire others to be better and holier; but Satan too, does not sleep and through modernism diverts you and leads you to his way. Therefore, little children, in the love for my Immaculate Heart, love God above everything and live His commandments. In this way, your life will have meaning and peace will rule on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
