Greetings from sunny Singapore. I am interested in all things related to spirituality and in ageing issues.
I am trained in spiritual direction at Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA, and also by the Haden Institute. I volunteer as spiritual director in a local Jesuit retreat centre. Accompanying retreatants/pilgrims in prayer sets me on fire. I wish there are more opportunities for me in spiritual direction and for me to facilitate retreats but I do need a day job to pay the bills.
I thank Catholic Daily for hosting this blog. I hope my blog will help visitors to reflect at a deeper level and to be able to find God in all things (as the title of this blog goes). I must say “God in all things” is inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola and I dedicate this blog to him. I also want to give praise to Mother Mary. I acknowledge that she has led me to her son Jesus. Having found Jesus I pray often never to lose sight of him. I am grateful that I have found Jesus to be a friend. This relationship has kindled a spark in me to walk with others as a friend and spiritual companioning therefore fits me to a T. Praise be to God!
I am also on the last leg of a Masters program in Ageing and Pastoral Studies. If appropriate I hope to bring in topics on ageing and spirituality to this blog. Let’s see.
May you find God in all things.
Thank you for your new blog. I took a peek and liked what I read. So here I am, all ready to hear more from you!
